Work operation in 2016
For the work operation in 2016, SIPA has supported the software entrepreneurs to improve software development process using CMMI® standard for quality and performance of products and services (Software Products & Services), in order to build potential and expand capability of competitiveness for software entrepreneurs.
Thus, supporting the improvement of software development process continuously by the government will strengthen software entrepreneurship and software industry, and be able to compete in the world level.
In fiscal year 2016, SIPA and NSTDA with Innovation and Technology Assistance Program (ITAP) and Software Park Thailand (SWP) altogether started “Capability Maturity Model Integration Promotion Project”.
To support some software entrepreneurs’ expenses in order to improve software development process and acquire CMMI® standard.
By supporting Thai software entrepreneurs to improve software development process and undergo evaluation to acquire CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) or CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC), as well as motivating Thai software entrepreneurs to improve software development process to meet CMMI® standard continuously. In addition, it will increase maturity and let software entrepreneurs build personnel with software development knowledge.
