From Bhamanachanaka to the Hidden Capita
His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, the Supreme Patriarch explained the mind through his writings “The Hidden Capital” by comparing the mind with the town we live in. The books have been published in several editions but are mostly known to a limited circle of people. His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara had an idea to present his story in more approachable format, especially for people in the digital age. A group of volunteers asked if they could represent the story in a captivating and accurate animation, while maintaining all the content of his writings.
After watching the intro of the animation “The Hidden Capital”, the Prime Minister said this is what Thailand needs as it will create awareness of Karma for the Thai people. The Prime Minister, therefore, ordered the production of more episodes of the animation and assigned the task to SIPA due to SIPA’s experience in digital content promotion and its past production experience of the highly praised animation movie “Bhamanachanaka”. SIPA, therefore, formed another team of animation experts in order to produce “The Hidden Capital” in 29 episodes which have each been confirmed and approved by Phra Sakayawongwisut (Anilman Dharmma Sakiyo) Assistant Abbot of Bowonniwet Temple, with content adjusted in line with the original writings. In addition, SIPA was also a part of designing the characters in the new animation.
Dhamma is Universal
The aim of this animation series is to share the universal principles of the Dhamma which have no ethnic boundaries. The designs of all characters are also universal and appeal to everyone as Buddhism is a universal religion. This animation will first broadcast in Thailand and then later expand internationally.
