SIPA’s main mission is to promote and support the development of software industry and attract investment in software industry by proposing the measures on tax and benefits to the Cabinet which support the access to capital, and financial services and investment in order to increase the competitiveness of Thai software and digital content entrepreneurs, most of which are SMEs, to be in line with the digital economy for society. The policy will help support the process of investments, create the motivation for financial and investment service, or benefits and promote the investment or co-investment between public and private sectors. It aims to drive and support the digital economy which will increase the economic potential of the country through the concept of the one-stop service. The activities include;
  1. E-Learning for distribution and training
  2. Screening business operators to propose to financial institutions for access to capital
  3. Organizing events with partners to support the access to capital
  4. Developing mobile apps, services of SIPA and OSSC and providing experts in software industry
  5. Establishing clinics to give advice
  6. Registration and certification of software operators and organizing events to create an understanding of the activities
